We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2025, at the age of 86, Thomas Edward Roberts Sr. of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Spahr Wagner and Vincent Roberts; and his stepfather Harold Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Mathews Roberts of Wilmington, NC; his sister Sandra Donnermeyer of Pittsburgh, PA; his children, Vivian L. Roberts of Charlotte, NC, Lori A. Smith (Steve) of Charlotte, NC and Thomas E. Roberts Jr. (Deborah) of Greenville, SC.; and his grandchildren, Alex Tharrington, Taylor P. Roberts and Jack S. Roberts.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Episcopal Church (25 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
