She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Elkins Smith; her parents, Earl William Savage and Hattie Inez Bradshaw Savage of Wilmington, NC; her mother-in-law Frances Smith Hodges of Wilmington, NC; her brothers-in-law, Alan Ray Fussell and Harry E "Ted" Morgan; and her nephew Parick Savage of Wilmington, NC..
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Smith Zoltek; her grandchildren, Quentin "Alex" Zoltek and Olivia Zoltek of Raleigh, NC.; her son Robert "Earl" Smith (Sandy); her grandchildren, Trevor Rice (Rachel) and Tori Smith of Mars Hill, NC.; her siblings, Phyllis Savage Morgan of Wilmington, Connie Savage Fussell of Wilmington and William E. Savage (Monika) of Burgaw, NC; her cousin Gaye B. Keller of Wilmington; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and all of her family.
