She was predeceased by: her parents, John Verzaal and Lula Beatrice Futch; her husband William "Bill" George West; her brother John Verzaal, Jr.; and her niece Dorothy Ann Verzaal Coleman.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Ann West; her granddaughters, Kristina Leigh Lucas and Anna Marie Holmes; her nieces, Frances "Ginny" Verzaal Vail (Dave) of Hampstead, NC and Tiffany Ann Verzaal Batson of Burgaw, NC; her great-nephews, Robert Eugene "Gene" Verzaal and Aaron Coleman (Tania); her cousin Bettie Verzaal Strickland; her niece Nancy Annette Leffelman (Terry); and her great-niece Victoria Sophia Leffelman Boyle (Sophia V. West Florist) of Amboy, IL.
