We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2022, at the age of 75, Sherry Spencer of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cedric Potter, Sr. and Josephine Hammonds Potter. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Alexis Spencer; her son Charles Mitchell, Jr. (Wendy); her stepsons, Carroll Alexis Spencer II (Lex) of Wilmington and Earl Montgomery Spencer II (Monty) of Loveland, CO; her grandchildren, Delaney Mitchell of Wilmington and Dalton Mitchell of Wilmington; her siblings, James Potter (Debbie) of New Bern, Alan Potter (Sonya) of Cameron and Yvonne Potter Caryle; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Spencer McKee of Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Winter Park Presbyterian Church.
