It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Ann Kahney in Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Frances J. Cloninger. She is survived by: her children, Justin Kahney (Wendy), Neal Larson and Brenda Larson (Robert C. Solomon); her grandchildren, Lucas, Colton, Benjahmon, Michael, Katelyn, Catie and Isa; and her siblings, Greg Cloninger (Michelle) and Gayle Cloninger Fellers (Henry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Sherry's family asks that friends and family consider a memorial contribution in her honor and memory to either ASPCA (https://www.tmcfunding.com) or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, both organizations that are near and dear to Sherry's heart and giving nature.
