She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Aline Evans and Eugene Leamon Bowen; her siblings, Joyce Collins, Carolyn Bowen, Senie Blume and James Leamon Bowen; and her children, Victoria Joanne Whitman, Kenneth Ray Whitman and Carla Jo Whitman Stephens.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Whitman; her son Scott D. [Jen] Whitman; her brother Gaither [Shelia] Deitz; her grandchildren, Jason Whitman, Amanda Mills, Ashley Stephens, Alex Whitman, Gabriel, Kira and Azriella Whitman; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Cooper, Cohen Whitman, Kirsten, Johnathen and Branden Mills. She is also survived by cousins, friends, nieces, and nephews.
