He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hoover and Irene Hoover; and his siblings, Margorie Yates and Jerold Hoover. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Messer; his brother-in-law Tom Messer; his sister Cathy Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Johnson and Violet Hoover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
