He is survived by: his parent Cleon Harris (Minnie Whittamore); his wife Esther; his children, Michael Harris of Connersville, Indiana and Valerie Melvin (Tony) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Dustin Melvin, Rachel Medford and Kaitlin Melvin; and his great grandchild Dillon Melvin.
