It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Norma Tassinari of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Rita Norma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita Norma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tommy and Margaret (Lucille); her daughters, Linda Tassinari and Lynn Casey (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Alex, Nick and Megan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Common Thread Ministry or Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Rita's honor. And she now rest in peace with her little brown bear, her grandson Dale.
