He is survived by: his family Mexico; his wife Nancy "Nan" Kilpatrick Scott; his daughters, Ginger Scott Rivenbark of Clinton, Julie Scott Carroll (Alan) of Cary and Smithfield; his grandchildren, Lauren, Allison Naylor, Kensleigh Layne, Lindsay, Brady and Finley Carroll; his siblings, Linda Cherry (Roger) of Warsaw, Joan Foster of Wallace and Joseph Scott (Sarah) of Las Vegas, NV.; his brother-in-law Mike Baysden of Richlands; and his mother-in-law Eva Kilpatrick Ketelsleger of Kenansville.
