The memory of Phyllis Gail Melton (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund E. Ruhland and Corrine Mason Ruhland; her brother Edmund Ruhland (Butch); and her mother-in-law Evelyn Melton. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Young (Chris) and Leslie Melton Jennings (Chris); her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Jackson, Rachel Ellis, Michael Ruhland, Brian Benedetto and Mason Ruhland; and her grandchildren, Atticus Young and Autumn Jennings. She is also survived by the many animals and children.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of the United States in Phyllis' honor.
