We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 80, Peggy Ann Wheeler of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Phillip and Hazel Moore Wall. She is survived by: her granddaughter Cynthia Porter; her children, Melissa Ellison (Joshua) and Ronald L. Porter II (Sheila); her grandchildren, Hazel Ellison, Marsha Roach (Ronnie), Kristal Porter, Rachel Stephens and Michael Stephens; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Chappel, Dustin Roach, Alex Roach, Ashley Stephens, Dylan Stephens, Alexis Copenhaver and Desiree Penn; her great great grandchild Ava; and her siblings, Phil Wall (Shelia) and Sherri Alexander (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Lower Cape Fear lifecare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
