He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jennings Teal, John Gill and Sally Caddell Gill; and his uncle David Gill. He is survived by: his parents, Joe Teal (Chrissy) and Julie Gill (Gary Gothard); his grandmother Victoria Teal; his sisters, Annie Mast (Mike) and Sallie Teal (Mike Burbridge); his stepbrothers, Aaron (Katie) and Michael (Chrissy); his aunts and uncles, Brooks Teal (Mary), Charles Teal (Sill), Jonathan Gill, Cheryl Gill and Sally Gill (Lisa Poteat); his nieces and nephews, Parker, Sebastian, Adalyn, Riley and Hudson; his cousins, Stephanie (Eamon), Logan (Catherine), Drew, Scott Shelly (Jamie), Dave (Nicole), Cooper, David and Cole; and his extended family, Emilia, Arianna (Blake), Alex and Tracey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the First Baptist Activity Center (1939 Independence Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (411 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paul's memory to the Opera House Theatre Company (http://www.operahousetheatrecompany.org) or the Thalian Hall (http://www.thalianhall.org), both of which played an important role in his theatrical journey.
