She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Alderman and Valeria McIntyre Newton; her husband Wesley Ellis Jones; her children, Donald Wayne Jones and Peggy Jones Davis; her siblings, Mavis Barrett and Cleo Newton; and her granddaughter Melissa Child.
She is survived by: her children, Rickie Ellis Jones, James Kenneth "Kenny" Jones (Shirley) and Carol J Holbrook (Wayne); her brother Elvin Newton; and her grandchildren, Alex Holbrook (Emily), Megan Holbrook, Lindy Jackson (Jeff), Weston Jones (Kayla), Courtney Ashline (Greg) and Edward Jones. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
