She was predeceased by: her grandson Ryan Thomas Carter. She is survived by: her children, Debra Carter, Terry Madliger Gioielli (Joe) and David Madliger; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Carter, Jessica Gioielli Slayton (Phil), Tyler Gioielli, Cody Gioielli and DJ Madliger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Presbyterian Church (2237 Castle Hayne Rd, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
