She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Jacob Craig and Louise Casteen Craig. She is survived by: her son Edwin S. Thornton; her grandchildren, Christy Fisher (Kevin), Zack Ayesh and Lena Ayesh; her great grandchildren, Adalyn and Brixton; and her sisters, Mary Jane Merritt and Anne Craig (Hank Weisberg). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakdale Cemetery (520 N 15th St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
