He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Brown and Nellie Padgett Brown; his siblings, Homer, Robert (Bobby), Donald, Charles, Mary Catherine, Nell Dean and Brenda; his nephew Drew Brown; and his brothers-in-law, George Hinson and Troy Hinson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hinson Brown; his siblings, James of Wilmington and Betty Williamson of Clinton; his sister-in-law Clara Dennis (Mike); and his nieces and nephews, Charles, Robert, Cathy, David, Geoff, Russ, Pam, Jason, Carolyn, Teresa and Natalie. He is also survived by his family and friends.
