He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis M. Beal and Alma Ruth Humphrey Beal; his son-in-law George Caison, Sr.; and his brothers, George Beal and John Beal.
He is survived by: his wife Rosamay Beal; his children, Debbie Hoyle (Steve), Teresa Caison and Mark Beal (Celeste); and his sister Laura Lee Thompson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
