It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazie Bowen Wooten (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Bowen and Elzora Hodge Bowen; her husband Percy McDonald Wooten; and her siblings, William F. Bowen, Jr. and Lillian B. Fritts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Collins (Richard), Emily Burch (Frank), Hilda Debnam (Jim) and Henrietta Pedzwater (Joe); her grandchildren, Amy Smith (Mike), Jennifer Pair (Tommy), Jessica Hansley (Bill), Julie Hoover (Darren), Mason Pedzwater (Ashley), Kevin Pedzwater and Marcy Pedzwater (Juan); her great grandchildren, Zach Smith, Abby Smith, Tyler Hansley, Sidney Hansley, Harrison Pair, Emily Pair, Katherine Pair, Luke Hoover and Jack Pedzwater; and her sister Catherine Bowen Moss of Blacksburg, S. C..
