She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Newkirk and Fannie M. Sneeden Benson; her husband Frederick Herbert Woodcock Jr.; her son Frederick Alan Woodcock; her brothers, Douglas Newkirk, Robert Stephen, Oliver Lewis and Vernon Gray Benson; her great grandchildren, DJ Culbertson and Danielle Bergeron; and her great great grandchild Jason Nwokolo.
She is survived by: her children, Donald E. Woodcock of Ingold, NC and Frances W. Bliss of Holly Ridge, NC; and her daughter-in-law Christine McGal Branch Woodcock of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
