She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Sloan Sr.; her parents, Jesse Lenford Fussell and Margaret Yelvington Ward Fussell; her sister Nancy Whitlaw; and her brother-in-law Nat Whitlaw.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Courtney, Michael, Hunter, Jonathan and Andrew Sloan; and her brother Bill Fussell (Suzanne).
