It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Schwind Serene of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Westerville, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Regis C. Serene; and her parents, Harry Schwind and Dorothy Schwind. She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Serene (Ronnie Watson) of Wilmington, N. C. and Nicole Serene (Tim Carter) of Wake Forest, N. C.; her siblings, Rosalie Carter (Larry), Ruth Roese and Harry Schwind (Nancy); and her brother-in-law Richard Serene (Stephanie). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
