She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rowan and Irene Cox Rowan; her husband Sherrill Nace Casteen (Buster); and her siblings, Donald Rowan and Betty Croom.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Casteen (Jennifer) of Wilmington, NC and Lisa Casteen Barentine (Gary) of Mt. Ulla, NC.; her grandchildren, Abbey Casteen (Brian Keehn) and Lindsay Casteen (Caj Baker); and her great-niece Jennifer Roberts Griggs.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Lower Cape Fear Hospice in memory of Mrs. Casteen.
