With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie A. Fairbanks of Wilmington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elmer Stacks and Janet Jaqueline Heatwole; and her husband John Adams Fairbanks. She is survived by: her siblings, Jacqueline Stacks Block, Wayne Stacks, Steve Stacks, Jerry Stacks, David Stacks and Rebecca Stacks; her children, Kimberly Klinger (Paul), John Fairbanks (Nicole) and Andy Fairbanks (Gina); her grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Steven, Anna, Madison, Morgan, Johnny, Elizabeth, Aidan, Lindsay and Clifton; and her great grandchild Owen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
