With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion C. Schmidt of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones and Marion; her husband John A. Schmidt, Sr.; and her brother William A. Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Marion, Cathleen Gormley (Brian), John A. Schmidt, Jr., Theresa Hughes (Sam) and Joseph M. Schmidt. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
