She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson Lee Pittman and Gladys Mae Pittman (Bissett); and her husband John Henry Powell. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Powell (Sandy), Rem Powell (Polly) and Angela Powell (Richard Craney); her grandchildren, Lauren Culton (Patrick), Jenna Powell and Remley Powell; and her great grandchildren, Mariella Culton, Emilia Culton, Oliver Culton and Graham Culton. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
