He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Virginia (Long) and Lyle Raymond Benson. He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Ann (Sporrer); his sons, Christopher Benson (Amy), Matthew Benson (Codee) and Jonathan Benson (Irene); his grandchildren, Tayler Morris (Tyler) and Haley Cole (Nathan); and his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Floyd, Whitney McCoskey and Ryleigh Gray. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
