It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis Henry Sawyer Sr. of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sawyer and Norma Rowe Sawyer; his former wife Judy Kelly Sawyer; and also, Judith Louise Sawyer, Rowe Sawyer and Ann Sawyer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Glass Sawyer; his children, Louis "Lou" Henry Sawyer, Jr. (Erin) of Carolina Beach and Jennifer Sawyer Brunson of Rocky Point; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Casey, Cassidy, Elle, Aspen and Bryce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Valley Methodist Church (3788 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403).
