It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Stephens Hearn of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Linda Stephens departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Stephens may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda Stephens leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stephens and Ruby Perkinson Stephens; her daughter Kelli Capobianco; and her brother Carl Stephens. She is survived by: her husband Russell Hearn; her son Chris Hearn of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Cora Ann Hearn, Colton Hearn, Savannah Capobianco and Faith Capobianco; and her brothers, Charles Stephens and Aubrey Stephens.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
