Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leon Eschal West of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in White Oak, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 91, on December 17, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. West and Mabel Owens West; his wife Joyce Edwards of Bladenboro; and his siblings, Lucille (Hugh), Lola Hilliard (Norman), Joan Watanabe and Donald West (Glenna).

He is survived by: his children, David (Donna West) of Wilmington, Danny (Tiffany) of Wilmington, Susan (Jeff Pope) of Rocky Mount, NC and Cindi (Ed Warner) of Garner, NC.. He is also survived by in-laws and nieces and nephews.
