He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daly Hinson and Lunie Sutton Hinson; and his siblings, Richard Hinson, James Hinson and Loraine H. Ingraham.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Andrews Hinson; his children, Donna H. Chestnut (Geoffrey), Debra H. Hobbs (Harold), David Hinson (Debbie) and Darryl Hinson (Laura); his sister Minnie H. Smith; and his grandsons, Brandon, Preston, Andrew, Justen, Loren and Zach. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.
