With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Ann Burnett Orrell of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Mary Lucille Burnett; and her siblings, William "Buddy" Edward Burnett Jr., Margaret Burnett Buffaloe, Ella Mae Burnett Bird, Rebecca Joyce Burnett Williams, Ruth Burnett Price and Betty June Burnett Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Biar Orrell (Silvia Pahola) of Durham, Julie Orrell Spagnardi (Joe Spagnardi) of Durham, Mary Angela Orrell of Hendersonville and Edward Arnold Orrell III of Wilmington; her grandson Brandon Lee Orrell (Emily Jolley); her children, Kayla Nicole Orrell, Mary Katelynn Hobson (Brandon Dixon), John Michael Spagnardi, Joseph Patrick Spagnardi, Kelly Alexis Orrell and Olivia Rae Hamer Rice; and her sister Greta Burnett Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
