She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Dixon and Alice Lambeth Wilson Dixon; and her former husband Gregory Mickey. She is survived by: her brother William Dixon, III; her husband Gary LeBer; her stepchildren, Brittany Perez (Martin) and Jacob LeBer (Makayla); her grandsons, Samuel and Logan Perez; and her stepchildren, Brad Mickey (Ashley), Chris Mickey and Brenden Mickey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (6650 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). An entombment will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
Over time, she became a project manager, overseeing these studies and making significant contributions to the field.
