He is survived by: his children, Joseph Lee Cobbs, Carey D. Cobbs and Selena Renee Cobbs; his grandchildren, Makayla Cobbs, Shawndavia Jewett, Joseph K. Cobbs, Kaydence Cobbs and Lakim Blackledge; his great grandchild Khiarre; and his siblings, Marvin, Frederick Cobbs (Frances), Joan Coco, Marvia Bloodworth, Sylvia and Theresa Cobbs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Shaw Funeral Home (520 Red Cross St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
