We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 63, John Michael Pcola (Wilmington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father John M. Pcola Sr.; his grandmother Josephine Pcola-Castro; and his brother-in-law Erick Snellman. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Meyers; his siblings, Mary Jo Snellman (Erick) of Woodbine, MD, Pamela Hostetler of Wilmington, NC and Jeffrey Pcola (Maria) of Central City, PA; his son Steven Hostetler of Wilmington, NC; his great-nieces, Lyla, Lorena, Jocelyn, Autumn and Harper; and his caregiver Casey Abbott (Josh) of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
