He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John B. Echols, Sr. and Virginia Manning Echols; his wife Mary Jo Echols; his children, Christopher Echols (Kristi) and Emily Echols (Chuck Payne); his sister Judith Echols; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Graf and Charles Graf.
