He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gordon Campfield and Mary Emma Campfield; and his brother David Earl Campfield. He is survived by: his wife Paula Campfield; his children, Jessica Hair and Michael Hair; his granddaughters, Samantha Hair and Courtney Cooper (Myles); and his sister Mary Ann Campfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center or Peace Baptist Church.
