James Edwin Rich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edwin Rich of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James Edwin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James Edwin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Rich and Lucille Rich; and his former wife Linda Albertson Rich. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Bishop Rich; his children, Todd Rich (Lisa) of King, NC and Tonya Rich Henderson (Michael) of Beulaville, NC; his grandchildren, Austin Smith and Hayden Henderson; his sister Catherine Barbour; and his friend Larry Boylan.
