It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Horace Lee Hardison (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Vance Hardison, Sr. and Margaret Mintz Hardison; and his brothers, Vance Jr., Charles, Harold, Jack and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sawyer Hardison; his siblings, Donald Hardison (Joyce), Margaret Bishop (David) and Rebecca Smith; his children, Alfred Spencer (Joyce), Terry Spencer (Sherry), Kim Joye (Wendy) and Tammy Yarborough (Dale); and his grandchildren, Butch, Travis, Stephanie, Tabbatha, Melissa, Randy, Heather, Brad and Katie. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
The family has chosen to send donations to In Memory of Horace Hardison to Odgen Baptist Church.
