He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Harold Taylor and Mary Helen Anderson Taylor. He is survived by: his brother Hubert Harold Taylor; his wife Rita Counts Taylor; his daughter Mary; his grandchildren, Meghan Amanda Taylor Thompson (Ethan), Luke Olin Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor Beamon (Noel), Aubrey Rayne Beamon Parks (Andrew) and Gideon Oliver Beamon; and his great grandchildren, Everett Callum Thompson, Miles Anderson Thompson and Loralie Jean Thompson.

The family has chosen to send donations to Mission Aviation Fellowship in memory of Herbert A. Taylor.
