He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Beeland Rehder and Henry Burbank Rehder Sr.; and his daughter Johanna Howerton Rehder. He is survived by: his wife Diane Howerton Rehder; his daughter Barbara Gaines Rehder; his grandchildren, Johanna Grace Carey and Joel Landon Carey; and his siblings, Kristin Rehder (Sue Washburn), Robert Rehder (Amaryllis Rehder) and Perrin Quarles (Peggy Quarles). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (12 N 6th St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A reception will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
