He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Ormond Joyce; his son Joel Thomas Joyce (Tina Mattson) of Wilmington, NC; his brother J. Richard Joyce (Rachel); and his brother-in-law Bill Ormond (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
