Tyson; her children, Dametric Tyson of Wilmington and Damere Tyson of Savannah, GA; and her siblings, James Codgell of Wilmington, Cedric Codgell of Wilmington, Eva Roland (Pastor Ronald) of Wilmington, Cheryl Codgell of Raleigh and Denise Sterling of Charlotte.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Warner Temple A. M. E. Zion Church (620 Nixon St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
