He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Acherson and Bob Acherson; his daughter Michelle Williamson; and his brother Freddie Mayfield. He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Mayfield; his son Gerald E. "Geno" Mayfield, Jr. (Brenda); his grandchildren, Brandon Mayfield (Tracy) and Rebecca Williamson; his great grandchild Lexi Williamson; and his son-in-law Chuck Williamson.
