He was predeceased by: his parents, George Parker and Edna Parker. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Parker; his children, Wesley Parker (Allison) and Teasha Clark (Jeff); his grandsons, Andrew and Griffin Clark; his siblings, George Parker Jr. (Fran) and Betty Lou Bradsher (Sammy); and his pets, Rowdy and Rosey.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all gifts be made out to the New Hanover County Humane Society.
