She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Futch, Sr. and Marie Pridgen Futch; her husband William Carroll Hamilton; her son-in-law William Lawrence Blanton, Jr.; and her siblings, Inez Futch Vick, Gordon Futch and Clyde "Tom" Futch, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Hamilton Blanton of Wilmington; her grandsons, Lawrence Blanton (Alex) and James Blanton (Caroline); her great grandchildren, Finley, Wyatt, Maddie, Baxter and Marni Blanton; her brother Gregg Futch (Sharon); and her sister-in-law Lark Futch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many extended family members and friends.
