He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Davis. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Pridgen Davis; his children, Dana Howell (Bill), Rusty May, James Mathews (Tracie), John Mathews (Frances) and Jason Mathews (Kristin); his sister Kim West (Ricky); and his friend Alison DeVane. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
