With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elburn Hugh Daughtry of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elburn Hugh Daughtry Sr. and Mabel Edgerton Smith Daughtry; and his siblings, Jackie Shaw Daughtry, Glenn Douglas Daughtry and Joyce Daughtry White.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Regan Daughtry; his sons, Elburn Hugh Daughtry III (Robin) and Christopher Brian Daughtry (Mitzi); his grandchildren, Cameron Daughtry Piersanti (Matthew), Caitlin Daughtry Cook (Darren), Regan Elizabeth Daughtry (Jesse Vassos) and Zachary Knight Daughtry (Allison); and his great grandchild Henry Joseph Cook.
