Douglas Scot Bannerman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Scot Bannerman (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Bryan, Texas, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Bowden Bannerman and Marilyn June Bannerman. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his sons, Christopher (Katie), Jon (Sydney), Connor (Amber) and Michael; his grandson Everett; and his sisters, Vivienne Bannerman and Angela Leath.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Coastal Conservation Association of North Carolina.

We have shared so many good times with the Bannerman family over the years, I remember a fishing trip to Avon, the many wine events we shared and enjoyed, oyster roasts on New Years, as well as the many meals shared together in the old neighborhood. We are praying for you all in this very difficult time and hope you are all well. With deepest sympathies.”
