He is survived by: his sister Ginger Brock Jamieson Godwin; his brother-in-law Larry Godwin of Virginia Beach; his nieces, Gina Lesinski and Jennifer Jamieson of Virginia Beach; his nephew Brad Jamieson (Liana) of Falls Church, Virginia; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Frankie, Zach, Emily, Luke, Gabe and Julianna Lesinski of Virginia Beach; his close friend Eugene Newkirk of Ayden, NC; and also Robert Gillis. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Dennis' memory, reflecting his commitment to helping those with substance abuse and mental health issues as well as his 42 years of sobriety.
